BizPref Consulting Services was established as a close corporation in March 2009. The company’s headquarters are located in Buccleuch, Sandton in South Africa. This company was established as a result of the owner’s desire to assist business with their strategies and structure building efforts in a more comprehensive capacity.
Jessica Louwrens, the sole member is also a primary business associate of a technology business (BizFuzion Technologies cc) which focuses on business consulting from a technology perspective. This involves optimising business processes in such a manner that the choice and use of technology thereafter assists to run the business more efficiently instead of the traditional occurrence that the technology solution is chosen before the business processes are in place, which in turn leads to the business processes being defined according to the technology systems in place.
An MBA student at WITS Business School who is currently completing her research in project and programme management in business and the reasons that they are not completely successful, Jessica has a keen interest in strategy and growth management that has long term effects. This passion for doing things right has evolved from over 12 years of experience and knowledge obtained from IT implementation and support projects across a wide variety of industries and business sectors in South Africa and into the rest of Africa.
Business strategy and process design has been a focus in her career and experience in the many successful projects that she has completed. The offerings of BCS provide an important and fundamental foundation to the successful projects embarked on by its technology partner.
With a strong foundation that BCS can provide, lasting success of solutions offered is ensured and the relationship of trust between business consultant and customer is solidified.
Jacques Louwrens, heads the legal consulting business of BCS. He has his roots in a wide variety of legal areas. His extensive studies in law have earned him a masters degree (LLM) in Mercantile Law with a distinction in his dissertation in the area of Corporate Governance. He has worked at various law firms, with the Ombudsman for Banking Services of South Africa and has been managing alternative dispute resolution services and customer experience for ABSA Insurance and Financial Advisers since January 2006. His remarkable knowledge of industry related commercial and banking law and its implications in business has proved to be noteworthy by decision makers in a number of organisations. The need for such expertise in business decision making has made Jacques’ expertise a valuable skill to BCS. An added bonus to this wealth of knowledge is his newfound interest and study in cyber law and all thus related.
The mentoring capability of both Jacques and Jessica is also something that they are passionate about and this has resulted in a commitment to create a dynamic team of highly skilled individuals who work together to provide long term and sustainable solutions with guaranteed success.
The use of strategic alliance partners, joint venture agreements and short term project contracts has proven to be advantageous to BCS as it helps keep overheads low while ensuring the highly skilled team dynamic from the start of operation of all projects engaged in.
